Tour de France

Stage 21 Highlights:

As Alexander Kristoff won the final sprint on the Champ- Elysees, Geraint Thomas crowned him and sealed the Tour de France victory in Paris.

The UAE Team Emirates and also the European champion Kristoff, edge out John Degenkolb team Trek-Segafredo, and the Frenchman Arnaud Demare of Groupama-FDJ took third place.

At the end of the traditionally processional final stage, Chris Froome confirm their teams (Team Sky) overall victory as Thomas crossed the line by one minute and 51 seconds over Dumoulin of Team Sunweb, with Froome a further 33 seconds back.

 

Milan-San Remo

As a cycling race avid fan, the last part of the race is an absolute nail-biter moment. The Italian went clear on the Poggio, flew down the woozy descent, and held of the chasing peloton in the final two kilometers.

Nibali was an image of coolness as he sat up and celebrated in the final 50 meters while futile sprints were unfurled behind.

 

Paris-Roubaix

While wearing a rainbow jersey and reminding us that he is much more than just another biker, Peter Sagan adds another legendary victory in Paris-Roubaix. He attacked like his fans expected him to.Sagan is powerful and compelling and now he has a big rock to add to his trophy cabinet.

 

Tour de Flanders

With 30 kilometers to go, on the Kruisberg, Corlbrelli accelerated with Stybar, Sagan, Kwiatkowski and Stuyven. But Nibali caught them back as he countered on the asphalt surface.His move was immediately marked by Terpstra and suddenly the race was shaped.

Nibali struggled to hold Terpstra’s wheel and he did not hesitate, leaving him behind on the short Hotond climb as Vanmarcke flatted.
